Come si può vedere nei tanti post che scorrono continuamente uno dopo l’altro sui social, questo è un mondo di fotografia “liquida”, mentre il vero valore di un’immagine è dato dalla sua capacità di catturare la tua attenzione e suscitare il tuo interesse.
È per questo motivo che negli anni ho cercato di avere il miglior approccio possibile nei vari campi in cui la fotografia gioca un ruolo importante.
Sono specializzato in fotografia commerciale, ritratto e reportage. Soprattutto quest’ultimo mi ha insegnato a raccogliere quante più informazioni possibili sui diversi luoghi, persone e culture con cui vengo in contatto in modo che possano fluire nelle fotografie che scatto e nelle quali cerco sempre di portare spontaneamente i dettagli e le peculiarità che le caratterizzano.
La mia Leica è una fedele compagna di avventura che mi ha permesso di alleggerire l’aspetto tecnologico e concentrarmi meglio sul valore umano, portandomi a pensare sempre di più prima di premere il pulsante di scatto.
Grazie al suo sistema compatto ma allo stesso tempo resistente e di qualità, mi avvicino alla fotografia con la filosofia del “less is more”, focalizzando la mia attenzione su ciò che mi circonda piuttosto che sulla fotocamera stessa.
In ogni singolo momento della giornata, sono sempre pronto a catturare ciò che attira la mia attenzione. Per questo motivo ho sempre con me due obiettivi e uno o due corpi macchina, analogici o digitali.
La maggior parte delle immagini che scatto sono in bianco e nero, tranne quando c’è la reale necessità di avere a disposizione il colore. Il bianco e nero mi permette di non farmi distrarre dal colore, che spesso rende il contenuto secondario rispetto all’estetica.
Per questi motivi ho studiato un flusso di lavoro che mi portasse ad avere il pieno controllo del risultato finale. In campo professionale questo finisce con la stampa. Nei corsi che creo cerco sempre di spiegare tutto questo in dettaglio, partendo dal momento dei “click” fino al controllo della stampa.

It is for this reason that over the years I always wanted to achieve the best possible approach to the various fields where photography plays an important role.
I specialize in commercial, portrait and reportage photography. Especially this last one taught me to collect as much information as possible about the different places, people and cultures I come into contact. So that this information can flow into the photographs I take and in which I always try to spontaneously bring in the details and peculiarities that characterize them.
My Leica is a faithful adventure companion that allowed me to lighten the technological aspect, and, instead, to better focus on the human value, leading me to think more and more before pressing the shutter button.
Thanks to its compact but at the same time resistant and quality system, I approach photography with the philosophy of “less is more”, focusing my attention on what surrounds me rather than on the camera itself.
At every single moment of the day, I’m always ready to catch what attracts my attention. For this reason I always have two lenses and one or two camera bodies, analogue or digital with me.
The majority of the images I take are in black and white, except sometimes when there is a real need to have color available. Black and white allows me not to be distracted by the color, which often makes the content secondary to aesthetics.
For these reasons I studied a workflow that would lead me to have full control of the final result. In the professional field this ends with the printing. In the courses I create I always try to explain all this in detail, starting from the moment of “clicks” up to the print control.
